Most WordPress sites become uncontrolled by the stack of plugins. We develop them ourselves, and you notice that in the backend.

SEO, forms, statistics and blog: all Altena’s own plugins. No thirty single plugins from thirty different creators who get in each other’s way or are suddenly paid.
Only what you need
The management environment shows the fields you use, in your own words. Title, text, photo, ready. No page builder with 200 buttons you won’t dare to enter after a month.

Less plugins means less updates, less leaks and a faster site. And since we know the code itself, we solve something instead of waiting for an external creator.

A complete WordPress website: between €500 and €1,500. Where you come within that bandwidth, depends on three things.
Number of pages and parts
A site with a handful of pages and a contact form is at the bottom. A blog, multiple services, a calendar or a portfolio lift it up.
Text and images
If you deliver your own texts and photos, that will save you. If you need to be written, edited or photographed, then that comes with it.
Graphical design
If you already have a corporate style, then we build in it. If you need a graphic designer for logo, colors or a completely new design, we hire them and we add these costs separately.

Websites we build, we prefer to host ourselves, for €150 per year. Not because we have to, but because we know for sure that the server runs the right software: the proper PHP version, a current database, SSL, backups and security that fits the site.
A website can become slow or break after an update at any hosting party that we cannot access. On our own server we see that coming and we solve it before you notice it. WordPress updates and our plugins are first tested in the same environment where your site runs.
If you prefer your own hosting party, you can do so. We put the site there and tell you exactly what requirements the server needs to meet. You can outsource maintenance and small changes separately for a fixed amount per month.

Conversation
