What is Smart Boekhouden?
Smart Boekhouden is an online accounting package that reads and automatically books receipts and invoices with AI. You take a photo of a receipt, the system removes supplier, date, amount and VAT, and prepares the booking. All you need to do is confirm. Developed by Altena, live on smart-boekhouden.nl.
Most entrepreneurs don’t hate accounting, they hate overtyping, shoe boxes, the one invoice that’s in a mailbox somewhere, and you don’t miss it until the return comes.
This package is built on it. The bank enters via a PSD2 link, invoices are picked from your mailbox, the AI matches transactions to coupons, and what isn’t right comes up instead of leaving it unnoticed. Underneath the hood is full double accounting. So you don’t deliver solidity for convenience.

The first six months are free, without a credit card. Spacious enough to make an entire quarter including a VAT return before you decide anything.Is the bank link working with my bank?
